D.A.R.S. turns your M5Stack Unit C6L into a passive drone Remote ID detector and relay. It silently monitors WiFi and Bluetooth for Remote ID beacons broadcast by drones, then re-transmits them via BLE so your companion app receives a clean, unified feed — regardless of how each drone is broadcasting.

Passive WiFi Scanning

Monitors the 2.4 GHz band in receive-only promiscuous mode. Captures Remote ID beacons from drone beacon frames, action frames, and probe responses.

Receives standard OpenDroneID BLE advertisements and re-broadcasts them via BLE — providing a clean, unified feed to your companion app.

Operating Modes

Ghost Mode

Stealth relay — captures and re-broadcasts drone Remote ID over BLE on a custom UUID, invisible to standard Remote ID apps.

Normal Mode

Standard relay — re-broadcasts captured Remote ID messages on the ASTM F3411 standard UUID for full compatibility with off-the-shelf apps.

LORA Mode limited MeshCore support

Continues Remote ID scanning while acting as a BLE-connected LoRa mesh radio for your phone. Compatible with MeshCore companion app.
